Unfortunately, due to the lack of participation from residents in the HOA and Board of Directors; we are experiencing a decline in our ability to maintain the current neighborhood standard and amenities. We have highlighted this issue in our annual meeting for the last several years. Although we contract with Neighborhood Services Corporation for financial and accounting services, board membership and residential participation are critical to administering and overseeing the HOA responsibilities. We had multiple board members leave the neighborhood in 2021 and we expect several more to be moving in the next 2-6 months. As of April 2022, we need to nominate/select all new board member positions (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary). If we do not have volunteers to fill all board positions by April 30th 2022, it is unlikely we will open the pool for the summer of 2022. Our ability to continue maintaining grounds, ponds, playground, etc. will also decline.
If you would like to volunteer to be a board member or assist with the HOA, there will be a meeting on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at 6:30pm at The Station, 700 S. Broadway. At the meeting, we will discuss, nominate, and elect new board members. If there is not sufficient interest/participation, we will move forward with not opening the pool.
